US Bans China Telecom

US bans China Telecom over national security concerns! The Chinese feel very disappointed about the decision made by the American government.

The decision made by the US Federal Communication Commission (FCC) means China Telecom Americans must now discontinue US services within 60 days. Where as, China Telecom, the largest Chinese telecommunications company, has had authorization to provide Telecommunications services for nearly 20 years in the United States.

In 2019, the China Telecommunications company served more than 335 million subscribers worldwide, which included the Americans, and it claimed to be the largest fixed line and a broadband operator in the world, according to a Senate report.
